We’ve gathered the most common ones to help you plan the perfect stay at Zion’s Tiny Getaway. From check-in details to what’s nearby, here’s everything you need to know before your adventure begins.

How far is Zion’s Tiny Getaway from Zion National Park?

If you use Google Maps, it will typically route you through Hurricane and La Verkin. That route is paved and straightforward and takes about 45 to 50 minutes to get to Zion National Park.

There’s also a scenic local shortcut many guests love. When leaving the resort toward Hurricane, you can turn right onto Main St. and pick up the Smithsonian Butte Scenic Byway, a smooth, well-maintained dirt road that cuts across the desert and comes out in Rockville, about 4 miles west of Springdale on Highway 9. From there it is a short drive to the park entrance, roughly 30 minutes door to door.

Yes. Every tiny home includes a kitchen space stocked with basic cooking essentials, tableware, salt, pepper, and olive oil. We also provide locally roasted Utah coffee, along with sugar and creamer, so your mornings can start slow and easy.

Depending on the home, you’ll have either a cooktop, hot plate, or a full gas range with oven. All homes also feature a private deck with a BBQ, perfect for cooking outside and enjoying the open desert air.

Yes. Just 10 minutes down the road, you’ll find Bee’s Marketplace – a beautifully curated local grocery store that feels more like a community hub than a quick stop.

Bee’s offers fresh produce, quality meats, pantry staples, and thoughtful local finds, making it easy to stock up before settling in. They also feature a relaxed beer and wine garden, perfect for slowing down after a day of exploring.

Select homes are pet-friendly for an additional fee. You can search homes by filtering for “pet-friendly”.

Most of our tiny homes have the bedroom in a sleeping loft, reached by a staircase, with a lower ceiling height in the sleeping area. For some guests that is part of the charm. For others it is a dealbreaker, and we would rather you know before you book than discover it at check-in.

We also have a selection of homes with the bed on the main floor and no stairs to the sleeping area. When you book direct on our website, filter for “Bed on Main Floor” under Amenities to see those homes.

So you can decide what works for you, here is what to expect:

  • Our homes are not certified accessible units. They do not have roll-in showers, grab bars, or widened doorways.
  • Tiny homes are compact by design. Even in our main-floor homes, interior pathways, bathrooms, and doorways are narrower than a standard hotel room.
  • Each home sits on a lot with its own entry steps or a small deck.

For reservations booked direct, you receive a full refund when you cancel 7 or more days before check-in. Cancellations inside 7 days of check-in receive a 50% refund. Once a reservation has started we are not able to refund unused nights, including early departures.

Any refund includes the cleaning fee and all taxes on the refunded amount.

This policy applies in all circumstances, including weather, road closures, illness, and changes in personal plans. We are not able to make exceptions. If your trip depends on conditions outside your control, we recommend travel insurance.

Some booking platforms, including Airbnb and Vrbo, apply their own cancellation policies that may differ from the terms above. If you booked through a third-party site, the policy shown on your reservation is the one that applies.

Absolutely – high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
